Last night, Balmain’s Bordeaux-born, super-charming, 25 year-old designer Olivier Rousteing hosted a quiet, á la carte dinner on the back patio of new Chelsea destination, Hotel Americano. Being a Balmain fête, the dress code revolved around the house’s richly embellished jackets. (Arizona Muse was especially mindful of navigating her crystal-fringe accented sleeves around the table’s many low-flying candles.) Meanwhile, the event’s It-accessory was the plush grey throw blanket the waiters thoughtfully provided to each dinner party guest in order to help ward off the chill in the cold night air.
